Gia Revazishvili

Gia Revazishvili from Georgia is a professional painter and designer. He was born in Tbilisi in 1954, where in 1976 he graduated from the State Academy of Fine Art, majoring in industrial Design. After graduating he has been working for the State Television of Georgia in the position of a TV Designer. He has executed a number of graphic designs, small sculptures and mural and furthermore illustrated various books. His work, exhibited in commercial galleries throughout Europe and US, is largely figurative, transcended by his expression of hope, beauty, love and light. "Technically I am interested in the combination of opposites: figurative and abstract, energetic surface with supremacist sign. The language in my art is the language of poetry and I believe in poetry and colour."
